Here are pictures from Indiana of the beautiful full moon that is shining brightly on us lucky people in Indiana.
This moment, the moon is in a totally full state. It is completely exposed with no shadow of the Earth blocking the Sun.
The first pictures are from last night before bedtime, around 10:30 p.m. (September 7, 2014)
Next there are pictures at sunrise today. We have Venus and Jupiter, Orion and Andromeda along side Pisces. What a total package of sly watching this 24 hours has been. A total delight for me!!!
Then we have the lovely sunset earlier this evening.
Followed by the big, bold and bright full moon tonight. If you look at it close, you can see the shape of a whole rabbit on the face of the moon. It is upside down and the ears will be to your right as you look at it. This is the last of the “super Moons” for 2014 and we will not see any closer moon until September of 2015. If you are lucky to have clear weather, get out and soak up some of those lunar rays. They are peaceful, hopeful, energizing and calming all at once.
Enjoy and All the Best!!!
