Gasoline alley was not as busy as usual for the Saturday of qualifications. It was a pretty cool day really, even with the sun. I was cold until I went to bed.

The tires always mesmerize me. Something about how many there are and how much care they take of them intrigues me.

Everyone is hard at work getting ready to try to and make the field for this year’s Indianapolis 500.

The pagoda in the morning sunshine is always impressive.

They widened the south end of pit road since last year. Complete with new fence that includes the area to get your favorite person’s autograph if you happen to get the chance.
