New Moon is happening now.
Take time to go outside, take some breaths of outside air. Think about what you want to change. Now what you NEED to change. They might be the same but are likely different.
Next, either while you are still outside enjoying the moment or from the comfort of your couch, chair, desk, floor, bed…close your eyes and see a movie of You living that “changed” way. Watch in your mind as you are able to live, love and be happy even though you have let go of that harmful behavior. Watch in your mind as you become that new, successful person. Watch as your life becomes more complete and happier because you chose to change that thing you were so scared to change.
Fear only works because we DO NOT KNOW what it will be like to be different. This exercise helps to neutralize those fears, and the blockage they cause, by allowing us to see and feel that everything will not only be OK, it will be down right wonderful.
Every new book, video and speech that the old guard of self-improvement teachers are putting out now contain the same mantras, the same ideas and the same message: What we THINK has power, the POWER to create REALITY in our lives. And if you take my teaching…always keeping in mind that The best is happening regardless of how it might seem on the surface…and add it to this (not new) tool….you are unstoppable at attaining the life that is The Best, more than you have ever imagined.
This is a great time to write letters,perform rituals, say prayer and dedicate alters with the intention that we embrace the change (that will happen anyway) and we are ready to help make it happen by our actions and thoughts!
Enjoy the day and remember…everyone has a fear of change…ask for a partner, use the buddy system to help in the moments it seems to overwhelm. We all need a little help from our friends now and again and all of the time!
